Overseas was formed in 1981 and consisted of: Taff, Ron, Mo, Drew Ross, Alan Murdoch, and Mo. Taff retired from the music business after Overseas in 1985 until NearFest June 29, 2002
Ron, Taff, Mo and guitarist Gunter Ford form a band called "The World" and perform a few concerts early 1982.

****Larry's final concert with Nektar was some time in May 1978 until NearFest June 29, 2002
** Dave signed with Don Kirshner in 1978. Recorded 3 albums and toured with David Johansen until 1986 (from the NY Dolls.) Recorded 2 albums and toured with Flo & Eddie in a band called "The Turtles" from 1980 to 1991 when he left the music business to go into finance. David also did a lot of solo projects, and an album with another band he formed called "SPY". Dave's final concert with Nektar was May 1978
*** Ryche moves forward with "Fireballet" after his final concert with Nektar July 1, 1978

** Mick Brockett's last concert with Nektar was on 12/10/77. Mick starts touring with "Sam The Band" in 1977 until late 1979.
*** Nektar stops using the Lightshow during the middle of the Magic Is A Child tour in fall of 1977. The final actual full lightshow of that era was a front projection show at the Memorial Hall Kansas City on Tues November 15, 1977

** Mo & Larry Fast first met via Marty Scott at Passport/Sire records NYC in spring of 1975, and joined Nektar in Chateau D'Herouville France July 4th 1975 for the "Recycled" sessions for two weeks. Larry periodically joins Nektar for live concerts starting in 1975, Larry Fast's first gig with Nektar was May 3, 1975. The Synergy Web site.
